TV Show Reviews (Cougar Town & Eastwick)

Well, I believe my last blog entry left off saying that I was going to watch the new series with Courtney Cox called Cougar Town. Well, I did watch in case anyone was wondering.

Cougar Town:
Courtney Cox was freakin' awesome in the show. I remember her from the Scream franchise and of course, Friends. But, I think this new series was really good. I liked her role of playing a cougar. She just recently divorced her husband, and they had a kid together. So, she was back in the prowl for some young kid to fool around with. Well, she didn't want to, but her friend wanted her to. So, they finally went out one night to the club. And she met this younger guy. She leaves, catches a cab home because she didn't want to stay any longer. Then, her friend comes by her house and drops off the young guy that she was talking to at the bar. And they end up fooling around and having sex. So, the show looks promising. I sure can't wait to wait the next episode this week.

Eastwick:
This show reminded me of Charmed, which happens to be one of my all-time favorite shows that did get cancelled due to many different reasons, mostly money. But, anyways, the show looks really good. Definitely can't wait to watch the next episode this week. These three women come from different worlds, they have completely different lives. One of the ladies, has a dead end working at the newspaper where her boss always tells her what she should write about. Another owns a small shop where she sells handmade things. And the last, had a husband who lost his job, along with kids. So, they have nothing in common. But, one day in the park, they each find a silver coin that they all hang on to. Then they all decide to make a wish at the same time on different sides of the fountain. The coins hit each other and the ladies randomly become friends. They start hanging out together, and they all make one wish each about the life they wish they had. Their wishes start coming true. And I'll let you go watch it if you think that you might like it.

Well, now it's time to watch Amazing Race on CBS, which should be starting soon, as soon as 60 minutes is over. Then Desperate Housewives on ABC.
